Currently, the most prestigious credit card is the American Express Black Card. You cannot apply for it and it is by invitation only.
You will need to have an extremely high spending rate as there is a minimum spending level per year as well as your requirements for net worth and a large income.
This American Express Black Card is known as the Centurion. If you have this prestigious card you may not want to whip it out to often as you will now be known as a member of this elite club and will have all your friends asking your for loans.
